logistics mall hosted

The ISV defines all performance parameter of the virtual machine (VM) including CPU, RAM, storage, backup. During the onboarding process, the ISV provides a VM template.

The operator instantiates a VM based on this template as soon as a user orders the application in the Business AppStore. The VM is operated within the logistics mall infrastructure in the data centre of the operator.

The ISV configures the VM according to the customer’s requirements.

Cloud-hosted

The ISV hosts the application on its own (the precise requirements are defined during the onboarding process), for instance in its own data centre.

The ISV provides the application after a user has placed an order in the Business AppStore. The operator activates the link to the application.

CAF-hosted

logistics mall apps require a defined environment. They are hosted within the logistics mall infrastructure. The operator installs the app in the customer’s access framework (CAF) after order placement in the Business AppStore.

Device-hosted

The user downloads the app and installs it on a mobile device.

The user itself is responsible for any configurations.
