How to Integrate your application

First of all, let's define what an application is and where it is running. Having understood the different application types and hosting options, now let's take a look at the different integration scenarios.

Basically, there are three scenarios:

  1. Software as a Service (SaaS): The application is provided in SaaS mode and used by the customer stand-alone, i.e. detached from other applications
  2. Enterprise Application Integration (EAI): The application is provided in SaaS mode and integrated with other applications by means of standardized interface (logistics mall BUS)
  3. logistics mall apps (apps): A single app is provided within logistics mall Infrastructure and operates on customer specific data repository. Different apps can be connected by logistics mall process designer
